ATO Correspondence and your myGov account
A number of you may have signed up for the new myGov service.If you have linked the ATO to your myGov account, most of your personal ATO letters will now go directly to your myGov Inbox, rather than through the post.
The types of ATO letters you will receive in your myGov inbox include:
- notices, such as notices of assessment
- statements of account
- confirmation and reminder notice
Unfortunately, in this case, the Tax Office will no longer send a copy of the documents to us.
If this applies to you, we would ask that you go in and unlink the Australian Tax Office service. This should ensure that your ATO correspondence is sent to our office. To do this you just need to go into Services, and click the link/unlink icon. Once unlinked the icon should show as green (refer below).
